Margaret has over 30 years experience in education including headship of five very different schools.  In her most recent post, she was Executive Headteacher of two primary schools and lead them through the process of coming together to form a multi-academy trust.  Prior to this, Margaret was a Senior Area Adviser in Cambridgeshire and a school improvement partner for a number of Cambridgehire primary schools.  In her advisory role, Margaret led the Headteacher induction programme for three years and led professional development for both senior leaders and governors in a number of areas related to school improvement.  She was instrumental in developing the current Local Authority models on school development and raising achievement plans and headteacher appraisal

Margaret is a former manager of the National Well Being Programme for Education staff and has a good understanding for the factors relating to organisational and personal effectiveness and school culture.

Evaluations of her work supporting schools in rigorous self-evaluation and continuing school improvement have been consistently excellent.
